G. Possible Third Party Verification Service

Sharing Stars uses a variety of tools in an effort to make our website as safe as possible for service professionals and Service Users. Among these tools are mandatory searches for all users in the Department of Justice's "Dru Sjodin National Sex Offender Public Website" ("DOJ SMART Screen"). Do not register as a user on Sharing Stars if you do not want Sharing Stars to search for you in the DOJ Smart Screen. By requesting to use, registering to use, and/or using Sharing Stars, you represent and warrant that you and each member of your household have not been and are not currently required to register as a sex offender with any government entity.

By registering as a user on the Website, you do hereby consent to allow Sharing Stars to perform the DOJ SMART Screen using information you provide, and you understand that Sharing Stars may review the information provided by the third-party verification service. You hereby authorize Sharing Stars to verify your representations and warranties herein, and you acknowledge that Sharing Stars reserves the right, but not the obligation, to verify such representations and warranties and to take action it deems appropriate in its sole discretion. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sharing Stars from any loss or liability that may result from the DOJ Smart Screen. In addition, you do hereby represent, understand and expressly agree that Sharing Stars offers this third-party verification service as a convenience and does not have control over or assume any responsibility for the quality, accuracy, or reliability of the third-party verification service and/or the information provided by the third-party verification service. Sharing Stars retains the right to terminate your Sharing Stars membership based on the information provided by this third party verification service. If you want, we can use a third-party verification service to verify your identity, credentials, and other public records. We charge for this extra service. The service helps you because it shows other users that you're who you say you are. We can't guarantee the accuracy of the information we collect from these third-party sources.
