We are dedicated to helping local communities better understand and prevent teen drug and alcohol use.
Our Community Education programs provide research-based tools and information to help teens and parents alike. Drug-free zones around schools offer communities one way to give students a place where they can play and talk without being threatened by drug dealers and drug users. Federal law and many state and local laws increase penalties for drug-related activities in drug-free school zones Help us educate parents and kids about the dangers of abuse. Your generous support is critical to our ongoing research and the development of our educational programs.
Objective: to reinforce the D.A.R.E. program
Desired Outcome: to help kids choose to be DRUG FREE!
Lecture: by Sharing Stars instructor
Materials Needed: 8.5x11 paper, Drawing orart supplies.
Action Plan: students will participate in lecture and to create a stay drug free picture in their classrooms.
Next, they have the opportunity to have their art work displayed at the Castle Awards where they will be dancing.
