My daughter and I signed up for lessons with Heather for our father-daughter dance at my daughter's wedding. Since I have practically zero dance ability and didn't want to just step around in a circle with my daughter, we reached out to Heather to teach us some basic dance steps, and then put it together with the song we selected so that the dance had a choreographed purpose. Heather suggested a series of six, one hour lessons. Once we introduced her to the song we wanted to dance to, she quickly had in mind what she was planning to have us do. But she paced us through the lessons--not giving us too much at one time, and having us build on what we learned from one lesson to the next. By the sixth lesson, we really had a good grasp of our dance steps and the sequence, as well as hitting certain moves at key junctures of the song. Heather even wrote out the dance step sequences so that I could practice on my own when there wasn't time to practice with my daughter. In the end, we pulled off our father-daughter dance at the wedding with great fun. We weren't going to win "Dancing With the Stars," but Heather made the whole process a wonderful experience that I got to share with my daughter. In many ways, that time with my daughter was more meaningful than the wedding dance itself. But in any event, we couldn't have been more pleased with taking lessons from Heather for such an important event in my daughter's life. In fact, I could definitely see taking further dance lessons from Heather, just for fun. But for sure I will be back when it's time for my youngest daughter's wedding.

My fiancé and I were in a last minute panic about our first dance and came to Heather who was able to accommodate us as soon as we needed. She adapted to our song and needs. She was well prepared and gave us a very fun lesson with great patience. Thanks to Heather we achieved what we came to do and had a lot of fun along the way! I highly recommend her!

My fiancè and I just took a dance class 2 weeks before our wedding and Heather saved the day! We were pretty stressed about "the dance" and she go us feeling so much more comfortable, which ended up lifting a huge weight off our shoulders. Everything came together so nicely and she was able to work with our song on such short notice (in about 2 days), it was just great.
